Cranial Sacral Therapy:

This light touch therapy is done while
the client lies supine (face up) on the massage
table. The client is clothed. The therapist discerns
the body’s cranial sacral rhythm, which occurs
as the cerebral spinal fluid fills and empties
around the brain and along the spine, or dural
tube. The places of non-movement are detected,
and released from the cranium and along the
spine. The cranial nerves, systems of the body,
and the fascia of the body are affected positively
as restrictions are released. Balance and healing
occur as the body’s normal movement returns
to full function. The boney parts of the skeleton
are accessed with light touch, i.e. the pelvis,
sacrum, spine, neck, and bones on the skull.
Accessing soft tissue, the tongue, teeth, and
cheek bones inside the mouth opens the passage
way for expression, releasing dental, or other
mouth related traumas. Facilitated, gentle
movement of the limbs also releases stored
energy, or energy cysts.
